Biography: Virginia retired from Delco-Remy, formerly of Anderson in 1974. She enjoyed bowling and fishing. She has written poetry and in her latter years was published. She was an advocate for disabled veterans. The care and nurture of her family was very important to her, and she was especially fond of her grandchildren.

Funeral Service Time and Day: Funeral services will take place at 1 pm on Friday March 12, 2010 in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria
Officiating: Pastor Mark Sluka
Interment: Will follow in Park View Cemetery at Alexandria
Visitation: Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria on Thursday from
4 pm to 7 pm
Memorial Contributions: May be made to the Disabled American Veterans through the funeral home.
