Biography: June was a graduate of Wendell Wilkie High School in Elwood-Class of 1965. She was married to David Cunningham June 13, 1965. She had worked at J. Lewis Small Company of Elwood and later Delco Electronics in Kokomo from where she took a medical retirement in 1990. She married Daniel Nance November 1, 1969. She was a member of the Elwood Moose Lodge where after serving as an officer and chairperson her activities earned her the "Academy of Friendship" award; a member of the Elwood Elks Lodge where she served as Americanism Chairperson; and a member of the Alexandria Eagles Lodge. June loved all of her kids, which didn't include just her own, but also all of their friends and all the neighborhood children. There was always an open door in her home and she never knew how many kids would show up at her house after a Friday night football game. "Momma June" will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by many.

Funeral Service Time and Day: A Celebration Service honoring June's life will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday-February 17, 2010 in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria
Officiating: Rich Levell will officiate at the service which will include a Lodge of Sorrow presented by the Elwood Elks Lodge
Cremation will follow the services with private disposition of the cremains at the convenience of the family
Visitation: Friends may call at the Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria after 4 pm on Wednesday prior to the 7 pm services
Memorial Contributions: May be made to the Elwood Elks Lodge Americanism Committee in Memory of June Cunningham through the funeral home
