Biography: Roger was a graduate of Alexandria High School-Class of 1959. He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War and was honorably discharged in 1968. He worked for both Delco-Remy and Guide-Lamp formerly of Anderson, retiring in 2000 after 33 years of employment. He was a member of American Legion-Post 127 and Alexandria Eagles-#1771. Roger loved cars and was a fan and collector of the Corvette. He was an avid reader and history buff. Roger was a loving father and grandfather and just recently proclaimed that his grandchildren and great-grandchildren �were the light of his life.�

Funeral Service Funeral services will take place at 1 pm on Tuesday-May 12, 2009 in the Noffze Funeral Home, 501 North Harrison Street, Alexandria
Officiating:
Interment: Will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria with military honors
Visitation: Friends may call at the Noffze Funeral Home in Alexandria from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the services
Memorial Contributions: May be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank through the funeral home
