ANDERSON-IN- Billy J. Stephenson, 56, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017, at Community Hospital in Anderson after a sudden illness.

He was born on October 8, 1961, in Anderson to Sherman and Ruth (Layton) Stephenson and lived in Anderson all of his lifetime. He worked at the Broadway Captain D’s for 17 years retiring in 2010. Billy was an avid Pacer’s fan and Minnesota Vikings Fan. He was an outdoorsman at heart and enjoyed fishing, camping, grilling and time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Shari (Hart) Stephenson-married May 16, 2009, his daughter-Autumn (Archie) Patterson of Anderson, Grandchildren-Mollie, Aidan, Blake and Luke
Brother-Bobby (Dolly) Stephenson-Anderson, sisters-Marilyn Ellsworth, Sandra (Bill) King, Brenda Wyatt and Ruthann McGuire all of Anderson
Several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-Jerry Stephenson, Marlin Stephenson, Phillip Stephenson and Dennis Stephenson, a sister-Rhonda Brown

Services honoring Billy’s life and legacy will take place at 1 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Owens-Noffze Funeral Home, 1009 West Walnut Street, Summitville. Pastor Nathan Lutterman will officiate. Interment will follow in Vinson Memorial Cemetery at Summitville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 am on Tuesday prior to the services.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Owens-Noffze Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
