ANDERSON, IN- Altha Jewel Alldredge, 69, went home to be with our Lord in the early morning hours of August 28, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield following an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 30th, 1947 to Arthur and Annie Jewel Alldredge in Lawton, Oklahoma. She lived the largest part of her life in the Anderson area. Most of her career she spent at Millers Merry Manor in Middletown and Countryside Manor in Anderson with 20 years plus there and from where she retired. She was a very caring woman and loved all of her patients dearly just as she loved her family, friends and her beloved pets. Altha's life was never easy for her yet she always persevered and was always the one to "give the shirt off her back" to anyone in need. She was a caring, loving Mother, a wonderful caregiver, a fantastic friend, an incredible "mommy" to her many pets and, simply, a beautiful person and she will be greatly missed by so many people.

She is survived by her companion Paul Hicks,
her children Kim Padgett, Teresa Padgett, Jim (Carla) Padgett, Jr. and Becki (Tony) Dickey as well as their Father Jim Padgett Sr.
7 Grandchildren – Amanda Key, Brittany Meyer, Allison Dickey, Braden Dickey, Jacson Padgett, Chase Padgett and Bailey Padgett
