SUMMITVILLE, IN- Jack Eugene Wright, 77, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Countryside Manor Health and Living Center in Anderson.

He was born on April 6, 1940 in Greentown to Orville and Bernice (Hiatt) Wright. He graduated from Summitville High School-Class of 1958. Jack served with the United States Army and was stationed in Korea during peace time. He retired from Delco-Remy in Anderson in 1990 after 30 years of employment. He was a member of the VFW in both Alexandria and Edmonton, Kentucky. He was a member of the Edmonton Baptist Church. Jack was a skilled woodworker and like to putter in his garage. He was a fan of western movies.

Services honoring Jack's life will take place at 1 pm on Monday, May 8, 2017 in the Owens-Noffze Funeral Home, 1009 West Walnut Street, Summitville with Rev. Clyde Denney officiating. Interment will follow in Vinson Memorial Cemetery in Summitville. Friends and family may call at the Owens-Noffze Funeral Home from 4 pm to 8 pm on Sunday.
